Volleyball Knocked Out Of Ivy Race With Loss At Dartmouth

Despite a combined 30 kills from sophomore Lydia Rudnick and junior Cathryn Quinn, the Princeton women's volleyball team fell out of the Ivy League race with a 3-1 road loss at Dartmouth. Princeton fell to 8-4 in league play, two matches behind Yale, which won 3-0 at Columbia.
Quinn hit .303 during the match, recording 14 kills with only four errors, but Princeton hit only .175 for the match. Rudnick had 16 kills and three blocks, including two solos, and 13 digs. Senior C.C. Lobben led the Tigers with 16 digs, while juniors Hillary Ford and Michaela Venuti and freshman Chelsea Parker each had at least 10 digs.
Ford added a team-high two service aces, while Venuti paced the offense with 43 assists. Sophomore Jennifer Palmquist matched Parker with eight kills, while Palmquist added two blocks.
Princeton will travel to Harvard tomorrow for its final road match of the season. The Tigers will return home for Senior Night on Wednesday, Nov. 17, for a 7:00 match with Penn.
