ITHACA, N.Y. (11/19/10) - Brianne Jenner scored midway through the third period to lift second-ranked Cornell to a 1-0 win over the Princeton women's hockey team on Friday afternoon at Lynah Rink.
The teams skated to a pair of scoreless periods before Cornell broke through in the third period with the extra player. Jenner's goal came with assists from Laura Fortino and Rebecca Johnson.
Rachel Weber made 30 saves in the loss, while Amanda Mazzotta had 15 saves in the loss. Weber made 10 saves in each period.
Princeton falls to 3-6-1 overall and 3-4-1 in the ECAC. The Tigers visit Colgate on Saturday afternoon.
