Winter Academic All-Ivy League Selections Announced

The winter Academic All-Ivy League selections have been announced by each of the eight schools.
The Academic All-Ivy League program has each league institution select five male athletes and five female athletes per season who have achieved a high grade-point average and made a significant contribution to their team.
Princeton's 10 selections for the winter of 2009-10 are:
Men
David Canner (squash) - A senior from Burke, Va., Canner is a tri-captain on the squash team. He is a chemistry major.
Taylor Fedun (hockey) - A junior from Edmonton, Alb., Fedun was a second-team All-ECAC Hockey and All-Ivy selection. He is a mechanical and aerospace engineering major.
Colin Hanna (swimming & diving) - A junior from Walnut Creek, Calif., Hanna had two top-four finishes at the Ivy League Championships. He is a politics major.
David Mandle (fencing) - A sophomore from Los Altos Hills, Calif., Mandle finished 18th at the NCAA Championships. He is an electrical engineering major.
Alexander Mills (fencing) - A sophomore from Millburn, N.J., Mills is a second-team All-America who placed 11th at the NCAA Championships. He is currently undeclared.
Women
Stephanie Denino (hockey) - A senior from Montreal, Denino was team captain and an ECAC Hockey Student-Athlete of the Year finalist. She is a psychology major.
Lauren Edwards (basketball) - A sophomore from Los Angeles, Edwards was named first-team All-Ivy and was a starter who helped Princeton to its first-ever NCAA Tournament bid. She is currently undeclared.
Reilly Kiernan (track & feld) - A senior from Pelham, N.Y., Kiernan was team captain and the Ivy League champion in the 3000m and the 5000m to help her team win the Ivy Indoor Championship. She is a sociology major.
Courntey Kilkuts (swimming & diving) - A senior from Corona, Calif., Kilkuts was named first-team All-Ivy with a first-place finish in the 200 IM at the Ivy Championship. She is a psychology major.
Susannah Scanlan (fencing) - A sophomore from St. Paul, Minn., Scanlan earned first-team All-America honors with a seventh-place finish at the NCAA Championships. She is a politics major.
