Todd Harrity Will Represent U.S. At World University Games

After a brilliant opening act to his collegiate career, men's squash rising sophomore Todd Harrity will be heading overseas this summer. Harrity will join four other Ivy League players to represent Team U.S.A. at the 2010 World University Games this summer in Melbourne, Australia.
Harrity is the reigning Ivy League Rookie of the Year, as well as a 2010 All-America and All-Ivy selection. He reached the national individual finals during his freshman season and didn't lose a single match this past season to a player ranked third or below.
He will lead a squad that includes two other male players and two female players. The U.S. squad, led by Trinity head coach Paul Assaiante, will also include Chris Hanson (Dartmouth), Alex Domenick (Cornell), Kristen Lange (Penn) and Logan Greer (Yale).
The World University Games are being held July 10th – 18th in Melbourne, and it is both an individual and team event. To date, seventeen countries have confirmed participation in the event: Australia, Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, Egypt, Germany, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iraq, Ireland, Nigeria, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, and the United States. The event will be played at the Clayton Campus of Monash University, which features eleven squash courts.
