Red Sox CEO Lucchino '67 to Receive Baseball Writers Award

Boston Red Sox CEO Larry Lucchino '67, a Princeton basketball alumnus, will receive the Boston Baseball Writers' Association's Judge Emil Fuchs Award on Jan. 20 in recognition of his work with a Red Sox team that has won two World Series titles in just the last seven seasons.
Lucchino has been with the Red Sox since 2002 after working with the Baltimore Orioles and San Diego Padres. While at Princeton, Lucchino was a part of the 1965 team that went to the Final Four. Two years later, Lucchino helped the Tigers to two NCAA Tournament victories.
