Two-Sport Ivy Champ Steve Harrington Reflects, Looks Ahead To Key Weekend
January 10, 2013 | Men's Squash
Not many collegiate student-athletes are fortunate enough to win one league title. Squash senior co-captain Steve Harrington has won Ivy titles in two different sports, and he was a key figure in Princeton's run to the 2012 CSA national championship.
Last season was his first full year in the varsity lineup, and Harrington made the most of it. He went 12-4 while playing mostly at the No. 8 position, and he won a tense semifinal showdown against Cornell to clinch Princeton's berth in the championship match.
Harrington has moved up in the lineup this season, and he has helped take over a leadership role after the graduation of four key members of last year's championship team. Harrington talks about his own time at Princeton, the current team and the atmosphere inside of Jadwin Gym in this profile on GoPrincetonTigers.TV (click link in photo).
