Men's Squash Opens Crucial Week At Ivy Rival Penn

The first half of the men's squash season did not go as the team hoped. The seventh-ranked Tigers will have the chance to ignite a strong second half Monday night (6 pm) when they head to the Ringe Squash Courts in Philadelphia to take on No. 10 Penn.
Princeton, which defeated Penn 9-0 last season at Jadwin Gym, will be led by its All-America duo of Samuel Kang and Tyler Osborne. Both are coming off victories at Dartmouth in the last match before the finals break.
Penn is 5-2 this season, with its losses coming at the hands of the two two programs in the national rankings, No. 1 Trinity and No. 2 Harvard. The Quakers split their Ivy-opening weekend, winning 5-4 at Dartmouth. Penn won matches 5-9 to take the victory in Hanover, and that win moved the Quakers into the Top 10 in the latest national poll.
If Princeton can win Monday night, it will move to 4-3 overall and 2-1 in the Ivy League. It would also give the team momentum heading into a brutal week of competition, which includes a Wednesday night match at the top-ranked Trinity Bantams, as well as a Sunday home match against No. 3 Yale.
