Sarah Daschbach Talks Libero Position, Dillon Excitement, Penn Showdown
October 23, 2014 | Women's Volleyball
Did you know the volleyball player wearing the opposite color didn't just leave her jersey home? That position has a name — libero — and Princeton's three-year starter, Sarah Daschbach, talks about the role of that player, as well as the excitement of a home match at Dillon Gym and her personal connection with Friday's opponent, Penn.
Daschbach is averaging more than 4.5 digs per set — a career best — this season, and she has more than 1,000 digs in her collegiate career. She had a career-high 35 in the 3-2 thriller over Brown two weeks ago, and she has had eight 20-dig matches this season.
Check back later for a preview of Friday's showdown against Penn.
