Fall Academic All-Ivy Selections Announced

The Ivy League released its list of student-athletes selected for 2014-15 Academic All-Ivy honors in its fall sports today. The 80 men and women selected were starters or key reserves on an officially recognized varsity team with 3.0 or better cumulative grade point averages. Each institution nominated five men and women from its eligible student-athletes.
Princeton's selections for fall 2014 are:
Matt Arends, Sr., Football, Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs (Prior Lake, Minn.)
Started all 10 games at safety; recorded 56 tackles, six passes defensed and two interceptions.
Sam Butler, Sr., Men's Water Polo, Politics (Falls Church, Va.)
Two-time CWPA Southern Division Player of the Week; started 21 of 24 appearances; recorded 11 goals, 13 assists, 32 steals, 10 drawn ejections and seven blocks.
Chris McCord, Sr., Sprint Football, Operations Research and Financial Engineering (Newark, Del.)
Tri-captain; named All-CSFL second-team defense and honorable mention offense; hauled in team's only two touchdowns; had 10 catches for 113 yards (11.3 ypc).
Matt McDonald, Sr., Men's Cross Country, Chemical & Biological Engineering (Annadale, N.J.)
First Team All-Ivy; all-region selection.
Cameron Porter, Sr., Men's Soccer, Computer Science (Centerville, Ohio)
Ivy League Offensive Player of the Year; Second Team Academic All-American; first team all-region; unanimous First Team All-Ivy; NCAA leader in points and goals per game.
Megan Curham, So., Women's Cross Country, undeclared (Warren, N.J.)
All-American; Ivy League Heptagonal Championships individual champion; First Team All-Ivy; all-region selection.
Allison Evans, Sr., Field Hockey, History (Macungie, Pa.)
First Team All-NESCAC selection; led the team in scoring with nine goals and one assist; finished career ranked eighth on the program's charts in points with 103.
Kate Ferrara, Jr., Field Hockey, Psychology (Spring City, Pa.)
First Team NFHCA All-Region; Second Team All-Ivy; helped defense record three shutouts and hold opponents to one goal or less in seven outings.
Gabrielle Ragazzo, Sr., Soccer, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (Jacksonville, Fla.)
First Team All-Ivy; started all 15 games in which she played on the season.
Nicole Kincade, Sr., Volleyball, Psychology (Franklin Lakes, N.J.)
First Team All-Ivy; ranked fifth in Ivy League in blocks and sixth in hitting percentage
