Squash Teams Host Drexel In Wednesday Jadwin Doubleheader

The Princeton men's and women's squash teams will welcome the Drexel Dragons to the Jadwin Squash Courts Wednesday evening to open the final week of the 2014 portion of the season. Both matches will be streamed live on the Ivy League Digital Network.
The Princeton men (1-1) will open play at 5:30 against Drexel (0-2) in a showdown of two teams looking to climb their way into the Top 8 of the national rankings. Princeton opened its season with a 6-3 win over Franklin & Marshall, which was ranked seventh at the time, but then fell 5-4 on the road at No. 16 Navy.
The Tigers are led by a pair of All-Americas in Samuel Kang and Tyler Osborne, but it has also gotten a strong boost from freshman Abhimanyu Shah, who is 2-0 and pulled out a five-game thriller in the upset of Franklin & Marshall.
Drexel has yet to win a match, but the Dragons have played two teams in the Top 8. The Dragons lost 5-4 to F&M, and then fell 8-1 to sixth-ranked Columbia.
Following the men's match, the fifth-ranked Princeton women (2-0) will take on 13th-ranked Drexel. Princeton is 2-0 on the season and has won 17 of 18 individual matches. The Tigers have also gotten significant contributions from their freshmen; Olivia Fiechter has taken over the No. 1 spot on the ladder, while Lindsey Scott is 2-0 at the No. 5 position.
The Drexel women are 0-2 on the season, including a 7-2 loss to No. 9 Columbia.
