The William M. Weaver Jr. ?34 Head Coach of Men?s Track and Field

A varsity track and field athlete as a Princeton undergraduate, William M. Weaver Jr. '34 endowed the position of head coach of men's track and field in 1986. Eleven years later, in 1997, he donated the funds to help build the William M. Weaver Jr. '34 Track and Field Stadium. Mr. Weaver once recalled: “The lessons I learned at Princeton about training and competition have served me well throughout my life, and this is one way I can thank the University for all it has given to me.”
