The Robert H. B. Baldwin ?42 Head Coach of Baseball
April 28, 2014 | General
As an undergraduate, Bob Baldwin '42 won the Roper Trophy for his outstanding achievements in baseball, basketball and football. In 1993, he established the baseball coaching endowment in his name and in honor of his uncle, William H. Baldwin '12, who played an integral part in Bob's decision to attend Princeton. Upon establishing this endowment, Mr. Baldwin wrote, “I believe deeply that the opportunity to compete in sports at all levels while in college is a most valuable part of an undergraduate's life and trust that this gift will help ensure the continuance of athletics at Princeton.”
