December 03, 2015 | Men's Squash, Women's Squash
Princeton will host five squash matches during the final weekend of competition in 2015, including four during a full Saturday at the Jadwin Squash Courts. All matches will be streamed live on the Ivy League Digital Network.
SATURDAY
The Princeton men will open the day with a 1:00 matchup with Williams College. The eighth-ranked Tigers are currently 1-2 on the season, with both losses coming by matching 5-4 scores to other Top 10 teams. The Tigers have been led by three freshmen at the top of the lineup, including No. 2 player Clark Doyle, who is undefeated at the No. 2 position following three tight matches.
The third-ranked Princeton women will make their home debut at 3:00 against No. 12 Williams College, and then will follow immediately afterwards with a match against 20th-ranked St. Lawrence. The Tigers are unbeaten on the season, including a 9-0 win over Drexel Wednesday night, and they have won 54 of 58 individual games on the season.
Saturday's matches will mark the home debut for the Class of 2019, including starters Isabel Hirshberg and Kate Feeley, both of whom are 2-0 on the season.
The Tiger men will have an opportunity to make a major statement in the nightcap (projected to start around 6 pm) against the third-ranked St. Lawrence Ephs. The Ephs, which reached the CSA championship match last season, will be playing their season opener.
SUNDAY
It gets no easier for the Princeton men, who will host fourth-ranked Rochester Sunday at noon. Rochester will also be opening its season this weekend, though it will play both Drexel (Friday, 5) and Penn (Saturday, 1) prior to the Princeton match.
