Volleyball Falls to UC-Davis in GW Invitational Finale

Kendall Peterkin led Princeton with six kills Saturday afternoon, but the Tigers finished the 2015 George Washington Invitational with a 3-0 loss to UC-Davis.
UC-Davis was on fire throughout, hitting .284 and recording 14 blocks in a 25-12, 25-20, 25-15 victory. The Tigers finished the tournament with a 1-2 record, though the victory was a 3-2 comeback thriller over Radford.
Three other players had five kills apiece, including freshman middle Nnenna Ibe, who added three blocks. Sophomore Maddie Huber added seven digs, while Lauren Miller had 11 assists.
Princeton will return to the court next weekend at the Hofstra Invitational. The Tigers will open Friday at Hofstra (6 pm), and will play both Florida Gulf Coast (10 am) and Hartford (3 pm) on Saturday.
