EIWA Preview Podcast: Unpredictable Weights, Top Possible Showdowns & More
March 01, 2016 | Wrestling
One of the best weekends of the collegiate wrestling season will take place in Princeton's Jadwin Gym, and we tackle some of the biggest questions about the EIWA Championships in a preview podcast with two of the league's veteran communications directors, Craig Sachson (Princeton) and Chas Dorman (Penn).
While we go through all 10 weights, we also look at some of the most interesting questions surrounding the tournament, including:
• How big a favorite is Nahshon Garrett at 133?
• Who among the returning champs at 141 should be the top seed?
• How open are those middle weight classes, especially 157 and 165?
• Can Princeton get its first EIWA champion since 2003?
• Can anybody break up a Stolfi-Wessell final at 285?
And then there's the 184-pound field. We saved that for last.
You can access the podcast page here or by clicking the microphone tab on the right side of the page. All previous TigerCasts will be stored on this page as well. Thursday's TigerCast will include an interview with Princeton senior Adam Krop, who was a big part of the 157-pound conversation in this EIWA preview.
Stay with GoPrincetonTigers.com all week for full coverage of the EIWA Championships, including a Princeton team preview and an overall tournament preview. For full coverage throughout the weekend, make sure you follow @2016EIWAs.
