Men's Squash Team Heads To Boston To Compete In CSA Championships
February 15, 2017 | Men's Squash
The 10th-ranked Princeton men's squash team will head to Harvard to compete in the 'B' flight of the CSA team championships this weekend.
Princeton will open the weekend Friday at 3 pm against 15th-ranked Bates College, the alma mater of head coach Sean Wilkinson. Bates is currently 14-3 on the season, though it doesn't have any wins against teams ranked higher than Princeton. The quarterfinal match will be played on Courts 9, 11, and 13 at Harvard, with the winner slated to play Saturday at 3 pm (Courts 7, 8, 9) against the winner of the Navy-Cornell quarterfinal match. Navy enters as the higher seed, though Cornell has played a tougher schedule. If Princeton and Cornell both win Friday, it would set up a rematch from the exciting 6-3 road win for Princeton in Ithaca last weekend.
The highest-seeded team in the Hoehn Cup draw is Dartmouth, which edged Princeton 5-4 earlier this season in Jadwin. Should the two highest-seeded teams reach the final, they would play Sunday at 11:30 am on Harvard Courts 1, 2, 3.
The full brackets and live results throughout the weekend can be found here. You can watch the weekend broadcast here.
