October 12, 2019 | Men's Water Polo
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – The No. 19 Princeton Tigers allowed just two goals in the second half, taking down the Iona Gaels, 10-6, at Hynes Pool on Saturday afternoon.
Princeton registered the first two goals of the contest, but Iona rallied to tie the contest at 2-all after eight minutes. The Tigers started off the second quarter quickly with three consecutive tallies and eventually took a 6-3 lead into the intermission.
The Tigers continue to hold a three-goal advantage until two straight from Iona closed the gap to one, 7-6, with 4:50 to go in the frame.
