Peterkin Named GPT Athlete of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Senior Devon Peterkin of the Princeton University women's volleyball team was named the GoPrincetonTigers.com Athlete of the Week, presented by Coach USA.
Peterkin was instrumental in helping the TIgers earn a pair of wins last weekend, posting a double-double in both matches.
The Tigers defeated Cornell University 3-2 (19-25, 22-25, 25-21, 25-21, 15-12) on Friday, November 1 and Peterkin finished with 10 kills and 18 digs.
In Princeton's 3-1 (25-21, 25-17, 23-25, 28-26) victory over Columbia University, Peterkin had a match and career-high 19 kills along with 10 digs and four total blocks.
The women's volleyball team is currently 13-1 and 9-1 in Ivy League play which has it at the top of the conference standings. Princeton is in action next inside Jadwin Gymnasium on Friday, November 8 at 7 p.m. against Dartmouth University (7-13, 2-8).
