Celebrating the 50-year anniversary of the dawn of women's athletics at Princeton, the First 50 podcast will visit with figures who were influential in bringing the women's athletic program to life, and with those who helped it become the outfit that has won more than 200 Ivy League championships, 22 individual national championships and 33 team national championships.
New episodes will be added every 2-3 weeks as the celebration of 50 years of Princeton women's athletics runs through the fall of 2021.
The second episode, linked below, talks with Merrily Dean Baker, who led the formation of the women's athletics program at Princeton, and Amy Campbell, who was an administrator in the athletics department from 1988 through 1999, ultimately serving as a senior associate director of athletics.
