Celebrating the 50-year anniversary of the dawn of women's athletics at Princeton, the First 50 podcast will visit with figures who were influential in bringing the women's athletic program to life, and with those who helped it become the outfit that has won more than 200 Ivy League championships, 22 individual national championships and 33 team national championships.
New episodes will be added every 2-3 weeks as the celebration of 50 years of Princeton women's athletics runs through the fall of 2021.
The fourth episode, linked below, talks with tennis alumna Podie Lynch '71 and rower Carol Brown '75. Lynch was part of Princeton's first women's tennis team and has gone on to a successful career in business, and Brown was part of Princeton's first women's open rowing team and went on to win a silver medal at the 1976 Olympic Games.
