Tyler Lussi '17 and the Portland Thorns and Diana Matheson '08 and the Utah Royals finished their fall campaigns in the NWSL as each team in the league played a series of four games against regional opponents in September and October. Utah and Portland faced each other twice and played the OL Reign, based in Tacoma, Wash., twice.

David Hale '11 and the Philadelphia Phillies ended their season on Sept. 27 just short of a postseason bid.
Mike Ford '15 and the New York Yankees made the American League Division Series, taking series winner Tampa Bay to five games.

Dallas Stars - Taylor Fedun '11
The Stars fell in six games in the Stanley Cup Finals to the Tampa Bay Lightning, which count Jeff Halpern '99 as an assistant coach.
Columbus Blue Jackets - Eric Robinson '18
The Blue Jackets fell in five games in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals to the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Robinson had his first career playoff goal during the series.
Women's National Basketball Association
Bella Alarie '20 and the Dallas Wings and Blake Dietrick '15 and the Atlanta Dream concluded their 2020 seasons on Sept. 13.
Premier Lacrosse League
Archers LC - Ryan Ambler '16, Austin Sims '18, Tom Schreiber '14
The Archers fell in the PLL semifinals, 13-9, to Chaos LC on Aug. 6. Schreiber had 2G, 1A for the Archers and was named the top midfielder of the championship series.
Waterdogs Lacrosse Club - Zach Currier '17
Currier and the Waterdogs had their inaugural season come to an end with an 11-8 loss to Redwoods in the first round of the playoffs.

Connecticut Hammerheads - Charlie Durbin '19: Team backed out of the playoffs after several positive COVID-19 tests.
