NGWSD Essay & Coloring Contest

This February, Princeton Athletics joins others around the country as we celebrate the 36th Anniversary of National Girls & Women in Sports Day. Each year, this celebration inspires girls and women to realize their full power by encouraging participation in sports and activities.

We invite you to celebrate NGWSD this year by participating in our essay and coloring contest. Full contest details can be found below. We can’t wait to see your submissions, and to see you all back in Jadwin Gym next winter for our annual NGWSD Sports Clinic.

CATEGORIES
Coloring Contest | Ages 4-5 Submit a drawing of your favorite sport or activity here. Essay Contest | Ages 6-8 Submit an essay using one of the prompts below: (minimum 100 words) • What is your favorite sport to play and why? • What is one lesson you’ve learned playing sports? • Who is your favorite team and why? • Why do you love playing sports? Essay Contest | Ages 9-12 Submit an essay telling us who your sports role model is and why. This can be a professional/college athlete or coach or someone you know. (minimum 250 words)

CONTEST GUIDELINES

One entry per person, must be ages 4-12
Deadline to submit: February 28 at 11:59 p.m.
One winner from each category will be selected to win a $50 gift card to the Princeton U-Store!
