Pozaric Earns NWPC Weekly Honors For Second Straight Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Roko Pozaric was named the Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Player and Rookie of the Week for the second straight week, the conference announced today.
The freshman was incredible for the second consecutive weekend as he recorded 16 goals and 12 assists as the Tigers went 4-1 including two victories over ranked opponents at the Princeton Invitational. He registered four hat tricks highlighted by a five-goal FIRST QUARTER vs. No. 16 Bucknell. Pozaric also had four multi-assist games and added six steals and drawn ejections.
Pozaric has contributed 27 goals this season while shooting 55.1 percent in the pool to lead the squad. He also leads the team in assists (18) and steals and has lost just ONE sprint attempt in 26 tries.
Princeton currently sits at 7-2 overall and heads to the West Coast this week to take on LMU and Pepperdine on Saturday and UC Irvine on Sunday.
