Alastair Cho of Men’s Squash wins Gold in South Korean Sports Festival

Princeton, N.J. - Junior, Alastair Cho of the Princeton men's squash team recently won the gold medal in squash at the Korean National Sports Festival.
The festival was held in Ulsan, South Korea and ran from October 7th to 13th. Cho participated as a United States representative for squash and competed for two days at the festival. The Princeton Men's squash player was also awarded a gold medal and trophy for his victory in South Korea. After competing, he had the opportunity to meet the South Korean President, Yoon Seok- Yul.
"The Korean National Sports Festival was an incredible celebration of Korean culture and sports, and it was an honor to represent Team USA", said Alstair. "In addition to competing in the squash event, I had the opportunity to explore the cities of Ulsan and Busan and to meet Korean athletes in multiple sports from across the world. Winning the gold medal was an experience I will never forget, and I hope to have the chance to compete again in the future."
Alastair and the Princeton Men's squash team, who were recently ranked No. 3 by the College Squash Association in the Preseason Rankings, will officially open the season against Rochester at home on December fourth.
