No. 5 Princeton Takes No. 1 Penn to Final Match

Coming closer than any team has to ending No. 1 Penn's unbeaten run this season, the No. 5-ranked Princeton men's squash team took the top-ranked Quakers to the final match on Saturday in Jadwin Gym in a 5-4 defeat.
The teams were tied at four matches apiece with court seven the only one still on, and Penn's Saksham Choudhary held off Alastair Cho in four games, 11-6, 5-11, 11-6, 11-8.
Princeton had a pair of wins by sweep on the day, from Youssef Ibrahim on court one and Daelum Mawji on court three. Thomas Rosini and Ahmed Hussein went the distance for their wins, on courts five and nine. Rosini led 2-0 in games before seeing Nathan Tze Bing Kueh pull even ahead of an 11-8 Rosini win in game five, and Hussein rallied from being down two games to one in his win.
In addition to being the first opponent to come within 5-4 of the Quakers this year, Princeton saw none of its losses come in sweeps.
The Tigers (6-4, 3-3 Ivy) will close out the dual-match season on Wednesday at Drexel.
