Ibrahim, Elbarbary Earn CSA All-America as Three Tigers Named Scholar-Athletes

Senior Youssef Ibrahim and sophomore Karim Elbarbary have earned College Squash Association All-America honors, and seniors Cole Becker, Howe Cheng and Duncan Joyce are CSA Scholar-Athletes, the organization announced.
Ibrahim, a first-team All-America selection, came within two points of winning a CSA national title, finishing his season with a 16-2 record between duals and the CSA individual tournament. It is Ibrahim's third All-America honor, all first-team recognitions. Elbarbary played primarily on court two in his first season of collegiate competition and won the Molloy East title at the CSA individual championships.
It's the second Scholar-Athlete honor for each of Becker, Cheng and Joyce, with Joyce getting the honor in 2019-20 and Becker and Cheng doing so in 2020-21. Only juniors and seniors are eligible for the award.
Becker, an electrical engineering major, played between courts three, four and five during the dual-match season, going 7-4. Cheng, an economics major, went 4-2 in duals, playing between courts six, seven, eight and nine, and Joyce, a student in the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs, was part of the lineup in 12 of the 14 dual matches, playing between courts four, five and six.
