Princeton top-seeded senior Youssef Ibrahim had a five-game battle with second-seeded Victor Crouin of Harvard, just as the two did in the regular season during the teams' dual match, but this time, the Crimson senior won.
Ibrahim rallied from a game-one defeat, 16-14, by winning the next two, 11-9 and 11-9. Crouin tied it up with a win in the fourth game, 11-5 in what was the only game not to end the minimum two points apart. Crouin then followed that with a 12-10 win in the fifth game, taking the match in what was Ibrahim's bid to become Princeton's first CSA individual champion since Todd Harrity '13 in 2011.
Sophomore and third-seeded Karim Elbarbary won the Molloy East draw, taking the match from top-seeded Abdelrahman Nassar of Trinity in three games.
