Fellow Top-10 Teams Fill Men's Squash Team's 2022-23 Schedule
August 02, 2022 | Men's Squash
Every other team ranked in the top 11 of the final College Squash Association rankings of 2021-22 will be on the 2022-23 schedule for the Princeton men's squash team, itself a part of that group after its fourth straight trip to the CSA's Potter Cup tournament last winter.
Each of the first 10 matches is against one of those fellow top-11 teams, beginning with a visit from Rochester on Dec. 4 in the only match of the 2022 portion of the new season's schedule. The remaining home matches in that group are Jan. 15 against Cornell, Jan. 28 against Trinity, Jan. 29 against Yale, Feb. 8 against Drexel, and Feb. 11 against Virginia before the dual-match season concludes with two more home matches against Chatham on Feb. 12 and Navy on Feb. 18.
All four road dual matches will come against teams in the top 11 in last season's final rankings, Jan. 13 at Columbia, Jan. 21 at Harvard, Jan. 22 at Dartmouth and Feb. 4 at Penn. The CSA team tournament will run Feb. 24-26 in Hartford, Conn., with the individual tournament Mar. 3-5 in Philadelphia.
Princeton returns 11 players who played a match in one of the top nine spots last season, led by rising senior Daelum Mawji and rising junior Karim Elbarbary, who combined to play in the second spot in all 14 dual matches last season.
