January 22, 2023 | Men's Squash
Hanover, N.H. – The Princeton men's squash team closed out the weekend with an Ivy League victory over Dartmouth 8-1.
The Sunday victory extended Princeton's win streak over Dartmouth to 14 matches since 2015.
In a quick turn-around from Saturday's loss to top ranked Harvard, the Tigers were determined to get back in the win column.
Fortunately, the match against the Big Green helped the Tigers to bounce back and dominate their opponents.
The Tigers gained victories at all but one position in Sunday's match up.
First year Tigers, David Beeson and Federico Sosa, made their collegiate squash debuts, securing their first wins of the 2022-23 season, and executing their first sweeps.
Beeson and Sosa's sweeps were two of the four from Sundays' match, with the others coming from Daelum Mawji at the No.1 position and Maaz Khatri at the No. 8 position.
Maaz Khatri secured his first victory of the 2022-23 season, sweeping Dartmouth's Feliz Feldman 3-0 at the No. 8 position. Khatri came out on fire, only dropping 4 points in the first game.
The Tigers' displayed their depth as a team, with multiple Tigers helping to contribute to the 8-1 victory over Dartmouth.
Up Next, Princeton will return to Jadwin Gymnasium for a Saturday match up against Trinity college at 2:30 pm.
