Men's Squash Concludes CSA Individual Championship Play

Philadelphia, PA – Three members of the Princeton men's squash team competed in day two of the College Squash Association Individual Championships on Saturday, March 4th at the Arlen Specter U.S. Squash Center.
Within the Pool Trophy division, No.12 seeded Karim Elbarbary finished his tournament run with a top-eight finish within the Pool Trophy division for 2023. Elbarbary was defeated by No. 4 Mohamed Sharaf, 3-0 (11-7, 11-6, 11-6).
Within the Molloy North Division, Ahmed Hussein was defeated by No. 4 Yuri Pollak Pelbart with a final score of 3-1 (1 (11-6, 12-10, 4-11, 12-10). Despite Hussein taking game No. 3 with an 11-4 over Pelbart, he was outscored in game four 12-10 by his opponent.
Alhassan Khalil represented Princeton within the Molloy South Division as the number six seed. In a hard fought match in Philly,he was defeated by No. 3, Denis Gilevskiy, 3-0 (11-7, 11-7, 11-7).
The Tigers have much to be proud of following this year's tournament and Daelum Mawji, Karim Elbarbary, Ahmed Hussein, and Alhassan Khallil all proudly represented the Tigers on the national stage.
