PRINCETON – Roko Pozaric and George Caras each scored a hat trick as the No. 6 Princeton Men's Water Polo team took care of business against the No. 15 Cal Baptist Lancers, 15-7.
After the Lancers scored the first goal of the game, the Tigers blitzed the road team with five straight goals, leading by four after eight minutes.
Cal Baptist cut the deficit in half in the second frame, but tallies from Pozaric and Vladan Mitrovic pushed Princeton's advantage back to four, 7-3, at halftime.
Head coach Dustin Litvak's unit ripped off seven goals in the third stanza, stretching its advantage to double-digits, 14-4, after 24 minutes of action, putting the contest away.
It was Caras' second straight hat trick. Pozaric and Caras each lead the team with eight goals. Princeton takes on Wagner (9:30 a.m.) and No. 19 Santa Clara (5 p.m.) Saturday.
