Kovács and Nuño Pick Up NWPC Weekly Honors

PRINCETON, N.J.- Kristóf Kovács and Enrique Nuño represented the Princeton men's water polo team in the Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) weekly honors.
Kovács was named the Defensive Player of the Week for the third time in a row. The Princeton keeper made 26 saves to help lead the Tigers to two wins over NWPC opponents. Kovács tallied four steals in the victory over Iona, the most by a Princeton goalie in a single game since 2017.
Nuño earned Rookie of the Week honors thanks to five goals on the weekend, including his first collegiate hat trick against LIU. He also recorded two assists, two steals and two blocks.
