Rotenberg & Scatchard Named Fall PNC Student-Athlete Achievers

A pair of standout leaders and student-athletes for Princeton University were recently honored as the Fall PNC Athlete Achievers and were presented with their awards at the Fall PVC Luncheon. Isaac Rotenberg (men's water polo) and Mena Scatchard (women's cross country) exemplify what it takes to achieve, serve and lead in the classroom, community and competition.
ISAAC ROTENBERG '25 | MEN'S WATER POLO
Isaac Rotenberg is a two-year team captain and three-time Academic All-American honoree for Princeton water polo. He has helped lead the Tigers to three consecutive league championships, including a berth in the 2023 NCAA Final Four following a single-season record for wins. Rotenberg has tallied more than 30 goals and 70 assists during his Princeton career. Out of the pool, Rotenberg serves as the Vice President of the Varsity Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, helping to enhance the Princeton student-athlete experience. He is also a Student-Athlete Wellness Leader, SCORRE leader and member of Athlete Ally. A classics major from Atherton, California, Rotenberg has been active with the Tiger Sustainable Investment Group during his time at Princeton.
MENA SCATHARD '25 | WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY / TRACK & FIELD
Mena Scatchard is a record-setting middle distance runner for Princeton track & field and cross country. A senior captain and 2023 All-Ivy honoree, Scatchard has been the top finisher for the Tigers through their opening two races this season. On the track, she has captured Ivy titles in the 1000m and 4x800m and holds school records in the 1000m and 1500m. An academic All-Ivy honoree from North Yorkshire, United Kingdom, Scatchard is majoring in the School of Public and International Affairs with a minor in Global Health and Health Policy. She has conducted research for the World Health Organization and worked alongside public health organizations in India. Additionally, she is a sports club supervisor and active volunteer with her team in the Trenton community.
