Men's Squash Team Sweeps Navy in New Facility Opener

In the first match at the team's new home in Princeton's Meadows neighborhood, the Tiger men's squash team turned in a 9-0 sweep of Navy on Saturday afternoon.
Avi Agarwal, Zain Ahmed, Aly Ibrahim, Alhassan Khalil, Federico Sosa, Yuvraj Wadhwani, Gordon Lam and Andrew Glaser turned in three-game wins with rookies Ibrahim, Wadhwani and Glaser each earning his first career win. Thomas Rosini won in five, holding a 2-1 lead before Navy's Alexander Orr extended the fourth game to win 14-12 and force a fifth, which Rosini won 11-6.
Navy's loss was its first of the season after eight straight wins. Tyler Osborne '15, a Princeton alum who was a three-time All-American and a four-time All-Ivy honoree while helping Princeton win the 2012 national title, coaches the Midshipmen.
Princeton made the national semifinals last year, finishing with a No. 3 national ranking.
The Tigers will return home next weekend to host Drexel on Nov. 23 at 2:30 p.m. Drexel finished at No. 7 at the season-end rankings in 2023-24.
