Women's Basketball Draws No. 9 Seed In NCAAs; Opens With No. 8 West Virginia

Once again, the Princeton Tigers are dancing!

For the fifth consecutive Selection Sunday they have been eligible to hear their name called, the Tigers experienced that sweetest of sounds when it was announced they have earned the No. 8 seed in the Albany 2 Region and will take on No. 8 West Virginia in Iowa City. The winner will take on the winner of No 1 Iowa and No. 16s Holy Cross/UT Martin who play a First Four game.

Game date and time as well as ticket information will be announced when available.

Head Coach Carla Berube's team has won its First Round game in each of the last two national tournaments, defeating No. 7 N.C. State (64-63) in 2023 after knocking off No. 6 Kentucky (69-62) in 2022. The Tigers have three wins overall in their 10 previous NCAA Tournament appearances, and are looking for their first-ever trip to the second weekend.
