A pair of standout leaders and student-athletes for Princeton University were recently honored as the Spring PNC Athlete Achievers and were presented with their awards at the Spring PVC Luncheon. SAM KLEINER '25 (Men's Heavyweight Rowing)
A junior from Westport, Conn., Sam Kleiner has been an integral member of the men's heavyweight 2nd and 3rd Varsity boats during his Princeton career. He helped lead the Varsity 4+ to gold at the 2022 IRA championships, the Tigers first gold since 2016.

He also coaches rowing athletes with the Special Olympics of New Jersey and serves his team as a Princeton Student-Athlete Wellness Leader to promote physical and mental health.
An IRA All-Academic honoree, Kleiner is an electrical and computer engineering major pursuing a concentration in robotics and cyberphysical systems.
