Seven Tiger Fencers Earn Bids to Paris Olympic Games

Seven Princetonians have earned bids through their national federations to represent their countries at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
The number is an all-time high for Princeton for the second consecutive Games, with four Princetonians making the Tokyo Games held in 2021.
Here's a look at the seven Tigers headed to Paris:
Maia Chamberlain '22 (USA), women's saber team
• First Olympics
• 2018 NCAA saber champion & three-time All-American
Sabrina Fang (CAN), women's foil team
• First Olympics
• Second-team All-Ivy as a rookie in 2024
Mohamed Hamza '23 (EGY), men's foil individual & team
• Third Olympics, placing seventh with Egypt in the team competition in Rio and eighth with the team and seventh individually in Tokyo
• Three-time All-American at Princeton
Katharine Holmes '17 (USA), women's épée team
• Third Olympics
• Four-time All-American, placing fifth with Team USA and 25th individually in Rio and fifth with the team and 24th individually in Tokyo
Hadley Husisian (USA), women's épée, individual & team
• First Olympics
• 2023 All-American as a rookie, took the year off from Princeton in 2023-24
Tatiana Nazlymov (USA), women's saber individual & team
• First Olympics
• First-team USFCA all-region as a rookie in 2024
Maia Weintraub (USA), women's foil team
• First Olympics
• Two-time All-American in her first two years at Princeton (2022, 2023), took the year off from Princeton in 2023-24
