
No. 5 Men’s Water Polo Splits Final Day Of Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J.- In the final day of the Princeton Invitational, Princeton faced off against Bucknell and No. 7 Pacific. Princeton came out on top in the morning matchup but fell just short in game two.
Princeton 17, Bucknell 7
The matchup went back and forth to start off before Bucknell scored first. The Tigers would not let that score stand as Logan McCarroll found the back of the net.
Princeton went on a dominant run by putting up six goals and Kristóf Kovács made three saves for a scoreless second quarter by Bucknell.
The Princeton lead grew to 10-1 in the third before Bucknell added on two.
Logan McCarroll recorded four second half goals, five total, for a single game career high.
Will Garlinghouse closed out the game with the goalie cap and made three saves as Princeton went on to defeat Bucknell.

Princeton 11, Pacific 12
Mitrovic got the first goal in the second game of the day for Princeton. The game stood tied at 3-3 after the first quarter before Pacific went on a 5-1 run.
Princeton chipped away at the lead and got within two to close out the third quarter. With 5:17 left on the clock, Molloy scored to tie the game up 10-10. Tas Palcza scored the go-ahead goal with 3:01 to play.
Pacific would score two quick goals to close out the game.
Princeton had six different goal scorers in the loss, including Mitrovic's single game career high five goals.
