Fall Season Continues For Women’s Rugby At Dartmouth

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University women's rugby team will continue its third season at the varsity level on Sept. 14 at 1 p.m. ET at Brophy Field in Hanover, New Hampshire, against Dartmouth.
2024 Outlook
The Tigers welcome four freshmen to their roster for 2024-25; Annie Huettel, Lila King, Lindsey Mulligan and Raven Robinson. They join seniors Brooke Beers, Erica De San Jorge, Sofie Grouws, Zoë Koniaris, Elizabeth Polubinski, Amelia Sanchirico and Caroline Schückel along with juniors Alayshja Bable, Alyssa Brigham, Luiza Chevres, Amelia Clarke, Annabelle Edwards, Kenzy Elshazly, Samantha Handwerk, Megan Hickey, Ciara Loughran and Caroline Maguire. Rounding out the roster is the sophomore contingent of Eliana Bane, Laura Barnds, Alana Ferguson, Ava Gregory, Maya Kenny, Malinka Kwemo, Hannah Mulligan and Celia Watson.
Last Time Out
Princeton opened 2024 at home on Aug. 31 against Sacred Heart in what was a 67-0 loss. Despite the result, it was a historic day for the Tigers as it was the first match played at Rickerson Field at Haaga House.
Scouting Dartmouth
The Big Green are 1-0 on the season, opening the season with a 49-5 home victory over Army on Aug. 31. The 2023 season saw Dartmouth fall just short of a third-straight National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) Division I Championship, falling to Harvard in the title match 20-12. Dartmouth ended 2023 with a 6-3 record.
