PRINCETON, N.J.- The No. 9 Princeton Men's Water Polo team entered day two of the Princeton Invite looking for its third win of the season when taking on the Santa Clara Broncos.
After falling behind early 3-1, Finn LeSieur helped Princeton convert to make it a one goal game in the second quarter. Tas Palcza tied things up at three apiece as both teams traded goals.
Santa Clara tied it up at the halftime buzzer but that would not deter Princeton.
The Tigers were able to finally pull away from the Broncos in the fourth quarter with goals from LeSieur, Taylor Bell and Logan McCarroll to close the books on Santa Clara for a 12-11 victory.
LeSieur had the hot hand for the Tigers, going a perfect 6-for-6 in the game for a new career high. Taylor Bell notched his first career hat trick in the Princeton win.
