Fencers Take Six Bouts at St. John's Super Cup

Winning six bouts, the Princeton fencing teams competed Saturday at the St. John's Super Cup against several fellow top teams in the nation.
The Princeton men, ranked No. 4 in the nation, had wins over No. 3 Harvard and No. 5 Ohio State, and losses to No. 1 Notre Dame, No. 6 St. John's and No. 2 Columbia.
The Princeton women, ranked No. 3 in the nation, defeated No. 4 Harvard, No. 2 Notre Dame, No. 13 St. John's and No. 7 Ohio State with only a 14-13 loss to No. 1 Columbia.
Princeton will compete again on Jan. 25 at the Penn State Duals.
