No. 5 Yale held off the No. 8-ranked Princeton men's squash team on Saturday afternoon in New Haven, 5-4, to open the Ivy League season

Yale got out to a 3-0 lead by sweeping the first flight and won two of the next five matches to clinch.

Federico Sosa and Yuvraj Wadhwani were winners in sweeps at fourth and eighth positions, while Aly Ibrahim and Justin Cheng won at third and ninth, each holding on to a 2-0 lead in games to win in four.

The Tigers will wrap the weekend with a 1 p.m. visit to No. 2 Trinity on Sunday
