Men's Squash to Visit Cornell, Host Columbia as Ivy Play Continues

After opening the Ivy League schedule two weekends ago at Yale, the Princeton men's squash team will keep it going this week while hosting their first Ivy home match of the season.

Ranked No. 8 in the nation, the Tigers will meet their fifth and sixth fellow top-10 opponents of the season this weekend in Cornell and Columbia. Hollis Robertson, Avi Agarwal and Aly Ibrahim, who have played a combined 16 of the 18 top-three ladder positions across the team's six dual matches this season, each co-lead the team with four wins apiece.
The Big Red enter having dropped their last four matches, all against top-10 opponents in Virginia, Drexel, Dartmouth and Harvard. Princeton has won the last nine in the series with Cornell, with the Big Red's last win coming in 2016 in Princeton. In Ithaca, Princeton has won four straight, with Cornell's last win over Princeton there coming in 2015.
Columbia enters its visit to the Racquet and Recreation Fieldhouse having split its opening Ivy weekend two weekends ago with a loss to Harvard and a win over Dartmouth. Princeton has won four straight over the Lions, last losing in 2020 in New York. In Princeton, the Tigers have won three straight, with Columbia's last road win in the series coming in 2015.
Following the weekend, Princeton will host Penn on Feb. 7.
