Scarano and Selbert Earn Academic Honors

PRINCETON – Marco Scarano and Justin Selbert were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, the organization announced.
Scarano also earned FCS Academic All-Star Honors. The senior captain was second-team All-Ivy after finishing seventh in the conference with 8.2 tackles per game this past season. Scarano had double-digit tackles twice, including 11 in the comeback win over Columbia. He played in every game over the last three years and was also honored as Academic All-Ivy.
Selbert nabbed Second-Team All-Ivy honors as a starter on the offensive line. He helped Princeton place in the top half of the Ivy League in passing average in league play (214.7 yards/game), while the offense also averaged 127.3 rushing yards per game.
