Friedman And Greene Named Spring PNC Student-Athlete Acheiver Award Recipients

A pair of Princeton student-athletes have been honored for their work in the classroom and community as well as their efforts in competition as Zach Friedman and Shea Greene have been selected as the Spring 2026 PNC Student-Athlete Achievers.
ZACH FRIEDMAN '26 | MEN'S LACROSSE
Zach Friedman is a senior defenseman for Princeton men's lacrosse. An anchor of the Tigers back-line, Friedman has helped the Tigers to two Ivy Tournament titles and a top-5 ranking this spring. Off the field, Friedman is a Student-Athlete Wellness Leader, SCORRE leader, member of the Varsity Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and founding member of the Varsity Athletes Pre-Medical Society. Additionally, Friedman is a two-year Co-President of Princeton's Best Buddies program, helping to promote inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. From Arvada, Colo., Friedman is a Politics major with a pre-med focus who spent last summer teaching indigenous Alaskan populations about health literacy topics.
SHEA GREENE '26 | WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD
Shea Greene is a senior and two-year team captain for Princeton women's track & field. Green is a two-time 2nd team All American and three-time Ivy League champion in the javelin, having helped the Tigers to the 2024-25 Triple Crown. Greene has been part of the Executive Team for the Student-Athlete Wellness Leader program, and is a founding member of her team's Community Service committee. Additionally, she serves as Co-President of the Jewish Student-Athlete Collective, a class representative for the Department of Politics and Undergraduate Associate for the Julis Rabinowitz Center for Public Policy and Finance. An All-Academic honoree from Weston, Conn., Greene is majoring in politics and pursuing a certificate in entrepreneurship.
