Alex Edmunds scored a career-high 21 goals as a junior as he appeared in 26 games. Edmunds also contributed 12 assists and 11 steals. He matched his career high with three goals in a win over Pomona-Pitzer, and had three two-goal outings, in wins over Iona, Harvard and a loss to Bucknell.
Edmunds recorded 10 goals in 17 games as a sophomore. His season high of three goals came in Princeton’s Southern quarterfinal win over Washington & Jefferson. Edmunds also added one of his five assists in that game. In addition he scored a single goal in seven other contests, including wins over Santa Clara, Bucknell, Queens and Iona.
Edmunds played in seven games as a freshman and scored five goals. He also added three assists and six steals. Edmunds scored his first collegiate goal in a league win against Johns Hopkins. He scored a season-high three goals in the opening game at Southerns against Gannon.
Edmunds attended the Loyola High School of Los Angeles, where he was an All-Mission League first-team utility. He scored 79 goals as a senior and added 21 steals. He also competed on the school’s swim team and was a CIF Div. I qualifier in the 200 freestyle as a junior.
