Winner of the 2009 Hooker Trophy, given to the freshman that has shown the most improvement on the season … won 15 matches during 2008-09 season, the second most on the team and the most of all returning wrestlers in 2009-10 … one of two Princeton wrestlers with a winning record in 2008-09 (Marty Everin) … won two Ivy League matches … recorded major decision against Franklin & Marshall to help Princeton clinch first win since 2006 … represented Princeton at 184 pounds in the 2009 EIWA Championships.
At Shady Side Academy
Lettered all four years and posted a career record of 145-40 … won 52 matches as a senior, the most for any Pennsylvania wrestler in 2007-08 … won WPIAL and placed sixth in state championships as a senior … three-time state qualifier and regional placewinner … finished third in Powerade Tournament … Allegheny County finalist … national merit commended student.
