At Princeton — 2018-19 (1-8, 1-3 Ivy): team co-captain … posted arguably the biggest individual win of the Princeton season when he earned a 3-2 victory at the #9 position against fifth-ranked Columbia; that win helped the Tigers to a 5-4 upset. 2017-18: continued developing as a player while competing in J.V. matches. 2016-17: added depth to the team while developing his game. 2015-16: played J.V. matches while adjusting to the collegiate game.
Before Princeton — reached the Top 10 in Egypt at the U-15 level … reached quarterfinals at the Alexandria Open … played for the Alexandria Sporting Club.
Personal — born Oct. 4, 1997 … son of Walid El Sherbiny and Mona Atwa … has a younger sister Farah … enjoys playing the guitar and reading … plans to study Economics.
