Ford Spencer played in 15 games as a sophomore and scored three goals with three assists and four steals. Spencer scored goals in wins over MIT, Johns Hopkins and Washington & Jefferson and added assists in wins over MIT, George Washington and Fordham. He had steals in wins over Fordham, Brown, Johns Hopkins and Iona and added two drawn ejections in the Southern opener against Washington & Jefferson.
Spencer appeared in 19 games as a freshman coming off the bench. He chipped in two goals and added an assist and three drawn ejections. Ford scored his first goal in a league win against Johns Hopkins and added his second in the Southern quarterfinals against Gannon. His assist came in the season opener against Cal Baptist and he draw two ejections in a win over Brown.
Spencer captained the water polo team at Phillips Exeter as a senior, where he led the team in goals and ejections drawn for the past two seasons. Spencer was named to the New England All-Tournament Team after his team finished second at the event. Spencer was also named to the All-Tournament Team of the Greenwich Tournament where the team placed third.
