DeNunzio Pool Visitors Guide

The main lobby entrance to DeNunzio Pool is ADA accessible, if coming to the facility to be a spectator. To access the pool level, you must either enter from the deck level (back doors of the facility), or go in the main doors of Caldwell and take the elevator down to the first floor, and come down that the hallway that connects Caldwell and DeNunzio.
Accessible seating is located at the top of each section of seats.
If at any time you need assistance, please find the closest usher or event staff for help.
We ask that you please leave your pets at home. The only acceptable animals in DeNunzio Pool are certified service animals and service animals in training. Service animals are working animals, an animal that’s sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals. See our full animal policy HERE.
Most events at DeNunzio Pool admission is free. However, most post season events are ticketed.
If the event is ticketed, all fans must have a valid ticket for admission and children under 2 and Princeton Students with a valid student ID are admitted free of charge.
All spectator seating is general admission and fans can choose to sit where they please.
There are no ATMs at DeNunzio Pool. There are two ATMs located in Frist Campus Center located on the 100 level as well as one at Wawa on Alexander Street.
Bags no larger than a backpack are permitted inside DeNunzio Pool. All bags are subject to search upon entry within all Athletic Facilities.
Banners, signs and flags are permitted provided that they are not on a stick or pole. They also must be hand held and not obstructing another guest’s view, in good taste and not offensive in any nature. Event Staff reserve the right to remove these items from possession if deemed inappropriate.

All who attend Princeton Athletics events have a right to expect an environment where:
• Guests will be treated in a consistent, professional and courteous manner by all Princeton event staff.
• Guests will be allowed to enjoy the events at Princeton venues free from disruptive behavior, including foul, abusive, discriminatory, obscene or threatening language, gestures or actions. More specifically, Princeton explicitly prohibits such language and behavior that are based on characteristics including, but not limited to, gender, sexual orientation, gender identification, age, race, national origin, religion, military status, disability status or any other characteristic. Obscene or indecent messages on signs or clothing, or obscene or indecent conduct are also not permitted.
• Guests who are under the influence of alcoholic beverages or any other intoxicating substance who behave in an irresponsible manner will be handled in a prompt and safe manner.
• For ticketed events, guests will sit only in their ticketed seats and show their tickets when requested.
• Guests will not engage in fighting, taunting, throwing objects, attempting to enter any competition surface or field of play or other conduct that will disrupt competition. Those who engage in any of these actions will immediately be ejected from the contest.
• Guests will smoke in designated smoking areas only.
• Guests will comply with requests from event staff regarding venue operations and emergency response procedures.
Event/security staff has been trained to intervene where necessary to help ensure that the above expectations are met, and guests are encouraged to report any inappropriate behavior to the nearest event/security member, or event security personnel. Guests who choose not to adhere to this Code of Conduct will be subject to ejection without refund and potential revocation of season tickets.
Outside food and drinks are permitted at all events in which concessions are not available. When concessions are available for purchase, outside food and drink are not permitted inside of DeNunzio Pool. We ask that on days concessions is present, outside food and drink are disposed of at the entrance of the pool or left inside your vehicle.
Princeton Campus Dining is the concessionaire for Princeton Athletics and will offer a variety of food and snacks for spectators to purchase. For events without concessions, there are vending machines available in the vestibule and in Jadwin Gym's West Lobby.

Drones are not permitted at any athletic event on campus.
In the event of an emergency, public address announcements will be made to provide information and initiate an emergency response protocol. Event staff, security personnel and Princeton Police will assist in directing fans appropriately. If you or anyone near you need extra assistance, please notify event staff or security.
Please call 9-1-1 if there is an immediate emergency and locate the nearest Event Staff Member. If there is a non-emergency, please find the nearest Event Staff and if necessary, contact public safety’s non-emergency phone number at 609-258-1000.
Everyone will enter through the main doors of DeNunzio Pool. Depending on the event, teams will be notified if they are requested to enter through an alternate entrance. Team representatives will be notified and reminded prior to arriving on campus.
If there is a medical emergency, please dial 9-1-1 and locate the nearest Life Guard or Event Staff. If there is not an emergency but still in need of assistance, please find the nearest Life Guard or Event Staff. There is a first aid kit on site, as well as an AED.
Guest Services is available at the front lobby desk in Jadwin Gym. Any questions can also be directed to the nearest event staff member.

Photography is limited at DeNunzio Pool to protect the privacy of all of our athletes and participants. Princeton University personnel reserves the right to prohibit photography at any time throughout the duration of the event.
Princeton merchandise will not be sold at DeNunzio Pool. At select events, merchandise might be sold.

Ivy League Swimming & Diving Championships
Parking for DeNunzio Pool is located in Stadium Drive Garage. Parking is free of charge and during large capacity event, an ADA Accessible shuttle is available for use from the garage to the circle outside of DeNunzio Pool. More Parking Information is available here.
Princeton University and NCAA regulations prohibit spectators from being on the playing surface, during and immediately after the game. Please utilize regular exits for departure from the venue.
The following items are permitted in DeNunzio Pool:
• Banners & Signs (must comply with policies)
• Bags – all must be in accordance with the following guidelines:
• Wallet, wristlet, clutch, etc. are permitted
• Nothing larger than a backpack
• Clear bags are preferred to help speed up the process of entry
• Beverage Containers (Ramblers, plastic water bottles, Water Jugs, etc.)
• Must be emptied prior to entering the venue
• Service animals
• Soft-sided seat back cushions or bench cushions
• Umbrellas (must not block the view of other guests)

• Artificial noise makers (air horns, whistles, clappers, etc.)
• Banners/Flags/Signs offensive in any nature or fixed on a pole
• Bicycles, skateboards, scooters & roller blades
• Coolers
• Firearms or weapons of any kind
• Fireworks
• Glass bottles & cans
• Illegal Drugs
• Laser Pointers
• Tobacco products
For safety reasons, fans will be refused entry if they are in possession of prohibited items. Illegal items will be confiscated. If a guest is found inside the venue with prohibited items, the items will be confiscated, and the fan may be ejected from the facility

Re-entry is not permitted during ticketed events. During non-ticketed events, re-entry is permitted.
Men's and women's restrooms are located in the concourse of DeNunzio Pool.
All forms of smoking are prohibited on campus, including electronic cigarettes.
Tailgating is NOT permitted in Stadium Drive Garage.

The Ticket Box Office is located at the front of Jadwin Gymnasium. Doors to events at DeNunzio Pool will open one hour prior to the designated start time.
Will Call is located in the Ticket Box Office and all fans picking up tickets are required to show a valid photo ID.
Fans are advised to purchase tickets to events prior to arriving at DeNunzio Pool. To purchase tickets, follow this LINK
Princeton Athletics home competitions, as well as Ivy League away contests will be streamed on ESPN+. Subscriptions can be purchased at Plus.ESPN.com. Select events may be broadcasted nationally on ESPN linear or locally on regional television networks. Please reference individual sport schedules or local TV listings for broadcast dates and times.
DeNunzio Pool continues to run as normal even during thunderstorms (the pool is fully bonded and grounded)

Wireless internet access is available for all fans and visitors through our “puvisitor” network. Some sites may be restricted while using the university WIFI.
